 solenoid
The automat toolkit comes with custom-made frame solenoids, chosen for their durability and flexible assembly.
We optimized them to be quieter than standard solenoids.
They can play fast rhythms and withstand heavy use, making them perfect for creative music machines & kinectic installation.

 mallet
The mallet adapter lets you use real mallets to play glockenspiels, xylophones, frame drums, boxes, and even keyboards. It’s a versatile way to add dynamic, acoustic sounds to your setup—perfect for exploring new rhythms and textures with classic percussion instruments.

 materialdrum
The materialdrum lets you explore the unique sounds of everyday objects. Place screws, coins, rice, or other materials on the surface and discover new textures and rhythms. The solenoid beater strikes from below, bringing out the character of whatever you choose to play.

 little wingman
The little wingman opens up new sound dimensions by letting you place it directly on instruments, objects, or materials. Without a fixed surface, it adapts to whatever you want to play—just set it on top and experiment with fresh textures and rhythms.

 lego adapter
The lego adapter lets you quickly mount solenoid beaters using LEGO bricks. Build playful setups and experiment with new sounds in seconds.

 round object mount
The round object mount attaches solenoid beaters to circular surfaces like drums or bottles—simple and flexible for creative setups.
automat configurator
The automat configurator is for users who want advanced control over dynamics using velocity values. For most setups, you can simply use MIDI note on/off messages to play—no configurator needed.
