composer pro is a standalone performance MIDI sequencer with support for open source audio engines.

Meet composer pro

Composer is a Performance Sequencer that can be the ControlCenter of a Live Music Setup or can be included as a Performance Controller Instrument in existing Electronic Music Setups or Simple (MIDI-)Looper in a Studio Jam Session

Composer can store several Songs which consist of up to 16 Machine Slots. There are 12 Pattern Slots per Machine which can be used to Structure a Song

A Machine can be a simple Drum-Step Sequencer, a mono/polyphonic Melody Sequencer, a MIDI Looper and an Automator for MIDI CC Control and automation of Performance Functions of Compose

Performers deserve Tools that enhance the creative workflow. Not the opposite.

The Interface offers different View Modes for different Performance Scenarios:

Song View: the Matrix shows all available Songs, each Button represents one Song. You can use it to choose the next Song to play, or start a New Song. You can also audition the new Projekt via Cue select

Scene View: the Matrix shows all available Machines and their Pattern Slots. Scenes can be triggered individually or all at once via the trigger buttons on the right side

Machine View: the Matrix represents the content of one Machine’s Pattern Slot, Steps can be set and edited, you can arm individual Notes and Record musical Input

Performance View: Manipulate the existing pattern without changing the original Information, Beatrepeats, Manipulation of Velocity/Notelength/Looplength via Touchstrip, Rythm Trigger
